Antigua Guatemala, Guatemala
Finding your people can be life changing. Finding them in a flower filled villa in Guatemala with volcanoes, excellent coffee and absolutely no pressure to explain who you are is even better. This retreat is for LGBTQ+ adults living without alcohol or drugs, as well as supportive allies who respect the purpose and atmosphere of the experience. Come alone if you like many guests do.
You’ll soon have people to share breakfast with, wander Antigua’s markets with and laugh with while everyone tries to remember what ingredients went into the pepián. Mornings bring gentle movement and honest, uplifting conversations about identity, belonging, relationships and creating a life that feels genuinely your own. Afternoons might find you exploring ancient Maya ruins, taking part in a traditional ceremony, visiting Lake Atitlán or discovering that macadamia pancakes are a perfectly reasonable reason to get out of bed. By the end of the week, you may have gained new friends, fresh confidence, a deeper sense of belonging and several brightly colored purchases that definitely did not fit in your suitcase. You’ll return home reminded that living without alcohol or drugs can be joyful, adventurous and wonderfully connected.

Fully Dry
The villa is fully dry, but the week is full of life. There is no alcohol or use of non prescribed drugs, and all workshops, meals and organized gatherings are alcohol free. Instead, expect Guatemalan coffee, fresh juices, hibiscus tea, tropical coolers and evenings you will actually remember the next morning. Connection develops through shared adventures, meals, small group conversations and relaxed evening check-ins. A pre trip call helps guests meet before arriving. Many people travel alone, so we make sure everyone feels welcomed and included while respecting privacy, personal boundaries and the occasional need to retreat to your room and recharge. The retreat is designed for LGBTQ+ people living without alcohol or drugs and for supportive allies. Some familiar 12-Step ideas are included, but no special vocabulary or previous program experience is required. Public venues may serve alcohol to others, but it is never part of our experience.
Wake to Guatemalan coffee, tropical fruit and optional yoga, stretching or meditation. After breakfast, join an engaging conversation about identity, belonging, relationships, emotional well being and building a life in which you can be fully yourself.
Share a freshly prepared lunch and relaxed conversation with the group. By this point, someone will probably have suggested an afternoon coffee, market visit or shared mission to find the perfect Guatemalan textile.
Explore Antigua’s cobbled streets, visit an ancient Maya site, discover a colorful market or travel toward Lake Atitlán. On quieter days, choose the pool, hot tub, massage, shopping, journaling or a nap with no explanation required.
This retreat is for LGBTQ+ adults committed to living without alcohol and non prescribed drugs. Supportive allies are also welcome when they understand that LGBTQ+ belonging and affirmation are central to the experience. Guests must remain alcohol and drug free throughout the retreat, respect the villa’s fully dry policy and protect the privacy and emotional safety of others. Discrimination, harassment or disrespect based on sexual orientation, gender identity or gender expression is not accepted. This is a supportive travel and personal growth experience. It is not a detoxification or residential treatment program and is not suitable for anyone who needs medical supervision to stop using alcohol or drugs.
Private Villa
Casa Quince is a peaceful private villa in a secure gated community within walking distance of central Antigua. Its flower filled courtyards, bougainvillea, traditional fountain and spacious shared areas create a welcoming place where guests can relax and be themselves. Comfortable rooms feature Guatemalan textiles, local artwork and private ensuite bathrooms. There is Wi-Fi for staying connected, a pool and hot tub for unwinding, and quiet corners for journaling, reading or taking a break from the group. The villa offers the best of both worlds: plenty of communal space for new friendships to grow and the privacy of your own room when your social battery needs recharging.
